How I Create Resources:
After years of teacher friends asking, “How did you make that? I love it! Can you share it?”, I decided to build a website with all of the resources I’ve made for my own classroom. My goal is to create engaging, affordable, teacher-tested resources that make art class more creative, calm, and meaningful.
Art Class Digest has always been a mix of teaching experience, creativity, research, writing, and digital tools. As technology continues to change, I’ve started incorporating AI-assisted tools into parts of my workflow. As teachers, we are constantly juggling and I love using tools to help me brainstorm, get writing support, design visuals, and allow me to spend more time focused on the actual teaching ideas behind each resource.
The concepts and overall direction of every resource will always come from my own experience as a middle school art teacher.
